Tod and Shannon from canada - elopment civil wedding in Ravello - Amalfi coast Italy . A eloping ceremony in the Garden Principessa di Piemonte overlooking the Amalfi Coast

“Amalfi Coast Dream Team” My fiancé and I live in Canada, we’ve never been to Italy and we don’t speak Italian. So you can imagine how imperative it was when planning a spring wedding in Ravello, to find someone who is okay with a lot of hand-holding. A wedding planner was recommended to me by a friend and I started working with them, only to find that their vendor partners weren’t the right fit for us.

I took to the internet to research alternatives, and Mario Capuano at Wagner Tours came up again and again and again.

I reached out to him in email and his response was almost immediate. We’ve been working with him ever since and I couldn’t be happier with my Plan B :) Mario has a lot of different options for venue, florist, hair, makeup, etc. and always provides a spreadsheet with breakdown of costs each time a decision is made.

The civil wedding ceremony in the Garden Principessa di Piemonte .. a dream for Tod and Shannon

We will be using Enrico Capuano as our photographer largely because of the huge body of incredible work we’ve been able to see online. Our wedding is still two months away, but it’s worth writing a review now to pay it forward to other brides who are using reviews like this to help them make a decision about a wedding planner. I plan on writing a more thorough review after the wedding, but I fully expect that Mario, Enrico and Mario’s assistant Annamaria Staiano will exceed our expectations.
