CAPRI and ANACAPRI Whole day tour escorted by guide

You will get by coach to the port of Amalfi, from which the steamer to Capri will leave. During the crossing, you will admire from the sea our Coast from Amalfi to Campanella cape and the Sorrento Coast. You will make a tour of the island by private coach, with a stop at Anacapri, where you will visit Villa St Michele, built by the Swedish doctor and writer Axel Munthe, on the place where before there was a Roman villa. From the terrace of the Chapel St Michele, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea. Transfer from Anacapri to Capri by private coach. After lunch (optional), you will visit the Garden of Augustus, with a wonderful view of the famous “Faraglioni”. You will have enough time for shopping in the elegant and exclusive island boutiques. It will be possible optionally to visit the Blue Grotto and admire the beautiful colour shades in the water, on the walls and the vault. Transfer by steamer from Capri to Amalfi. POMPEI and VESUVIUS Whole day tour escorted by guide

You will leave the hotel and get to Pompei by coach. Escorted by a guide, you will visit the remains of the ancient Roman town buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D., with its houses, the Forum, the Theatres, the Villas, the Amphitheatre and you can become acquainted with the way of life of that period. Transfer by coach to Torre del Greco, where you will visit one of the oldest and most important cameo and coral factories. The tecniques of working jewels of extraordinary beauty and value will be illustrated. After lunch (optional), you will go to the foot of Vesuvius. Here you will reach the height of 1000 m by coach and then on foot to the crater, where a local guide will explain you the characteristics and the history of the volcano. Return to the hotel late in the afternoon. |

start from Amalfi and will let you see a new image of the Amalfi Coast.
You will be able to enjoy its indented coast, the charming creeks,
thousands of small beaches, hidden by the rocks and the sea with
variegated colour shades. Before your eyes the villages of Atrani, Amalfi,
Praiano, Conca dei Marini will follow one another, with the white fishing
houses, clinging to the rocks, the majolica domes of the churches and the
defence towers. Once at Positano, you will have the possibility to visit
this famous seaside resort, with its narrow and meandering streets, the
stylish bars and restaurants on the beach, the famous Italian and foreign
artists villas. You will be able to go shopping in the elegant boutiques,
that display the famous Positano fashion. Return by boat to Amalfi.

Driving southwards by motorcoach, you will reach Paestum, where a huge archaeological zone of Greek origin lies. The area is dominated by the imposing structure of three Doric temples, dating back to the 6th century B.C.. Near the archaeological area there is a museum with a rich collection of Greek art and antiquities.After lunch (optional), the excursion goes to Vietri sul Mare, a little town at the beginning of the Amalfi Coast. Its name is tied to ceramics, known and appreciated all over the world for the vivid colours, the varied images, the exquisite workmanship. You will visit an artisan shop, where your creative and decorative skills will be put to the test. Return to hotel by 7.00 pm. |

You will leave the hotel by motorcoach and will pass the picturesque fishing villages of Conca dei Marini, Furore and Praiano, until you reach the Belvedere of Positano, that overlooks Positano Bay, with a wonderful view on Li Galli islands and the whole coast. Once in Sorrento, you will visit this famous and high-class resort, lying among the parks and the scented gardens of villas and hotels and surrounded by luxuriant orange and olive-groves. You will have enough time for shopping in the elegant and exclusive boutiques. After lunch (optional), you will go to Herculaneum, where you will visit the remains of the ancient town, refined resort of the rich Roman people, buried by a mud and lava river, after the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D. By motorcoach, you will get to the Amalfi centre and will visit the famous Cathedral of St Andrea with its magnificent facade, the Crypt, where the relics of the Saint are kept, and the Cloister of Paradise. It is a delightful building in Arabian style, dating back to the 13th century. Then you will go to Ravello, stage of the famous Wagner concerts and will walk the typical labyrinth of narrow streets and lanes of the town.
