As you might expect, the restaurant menu focuses on Italian and local cuisine, and the Villa’s own vegetable garden provides much of the fresh produce used by the chef. You are sure to savour some delightful dishes and will soon come to understand why the restaurant boasts a number of famous clientele, including the American writer Gore Vidal.

This small and charming hotel is entirely furnished with fine antiques, examples of which can be bought in a small antiques shop situated by the terrace. Each guest room is elegantly furnished with period furniture and care has been taken to ensure that each room is uniquely styled.

Many famous guest have stayed at Villa Maria. Some of them have left testimonials of their passage: a very meaningful note from Prince Giovanni di Borbone delle Due Sicilie, a letter by Benito Mussolini thanking for the hospitality, the sculptor Mastroianni enchanted by Villa Maria's beauty donated one of his works. Alberto Granado, Che Guevara right arm wrote "Admirado por la beleza del lugar y la calida hospitalidad de sus habitantes les dedico estas linea".
